Something We Might All Agree With

Los Angeles.  Love to avoid that place, but, also recognize our obvious ties and membership base too.  So what happens when Los Angeles files suit against Mammoth Lakes claiming water rights?  Does the citizenry stand by with held breath and hope LA goes easy on us and our water?  Haha, don't think so.

Ah, the city of angels is out for a modern times water grab.

Los Angeles, city of our past, you suck the life out of family, friends, and community and leave them to blow away like pm10 dust.  Hasn't the financial bite of the Owens dry Lake sated your thirst for divesting small towns - lock, stock, and barrel?

On Thursday, April 12, 2012, Los Angeles  DWP lawyers will be in Mammoth to petition our court for a venue change.  Perhaps a more seamless court case can be brought forth in Fresno.  Should the future of our community be decided by those far removed from our community?

Well?

Rally to the courthouse and show the residing judge we aren't a colony of LA.
9:30 am, Mammoth Superior Court, 4-12-2012.
(bonus points if I see you walking over from McDonalds, Mammoth Tourism, USFS headquarters, RV park, or the Hospital)
